My Umbrella girl exploring the curious world she’s in.
Your sketches are way to stinking good! Did you take an anatomy class? (sweetleafchamploo
Haha, thank you! And yes, I’ve taken two figure drawing classes while at college so far :)
I was hoping to finish this tonight, but that’s not going to happen! Revisiting and working more on my umbrella girl story.
When thinking of childhood, what words come to mind?
You know when something feels right and you get that ‘aha!’ moment?
I think that happened to me today.
Argh, I definitely need a better scanner. The original has so much more colors and doesn’t look so muddled.
But!! Thank you to the anon who suggested this. It was fun to make, and makes me wanna keep practicing my watercolor illustrations. Thank you everyone else for your suggestions, too! I’m working on them :)
Q: You are very very talented wowowow You're one of my new favourite artists :3 (Anonymous)
Ahhh, thank you so much!! What an honor <3
Q: Do you sell your artwork anywhere? I would totally buy your little ACEO sketches on etsy or something uwu (Anonymous)
Anon, you make me incredibly happy. Thank you so much for your interest! I’m planning on opening an Etsy very soon. I’ll be sure to announce it when I do!
I need to get a move on and draw stuff and practice before i go back to school at the end of the month
so send me an ask and i’ll probably draw your request.
I started watching Sailor Moon this summer…
I wanted to play with this style. I sorta like it, but I still need to develop it further
also i should have waited til i drew sailor saturn to pair her with chibi moon oops
Hy lady! Your ilustrations are very good! You're very polivalent and you handle different styles very good! Are you still exploring your possibillities, or Would you choose one of them? (lulabox
Hello! and thank you!!
It’s funny you ask this, because I sorta had a meltdown last night about my art and its aesthetics haha. I don’t really know that I’ve “chosen” a style. I like my realistic and mature work as well as my more imaginative and childlike illustrations. I haven’t really found anything that I’d like to call my own. I’m just working until something finally clicks with me and it’s not such a burden that I should even think about.
So, to answer simply, I am still exploring my possibilities!

I wanted to practice some illustration work and styles, so I took this photo of the lovely Rooney Mara from an issue of Vogue and remade it.

I’ve been working on this piece for the past week or so. Although there’s a few areas that could use some reevaluating, I like how it turned out ♥
Hey! I found you on the radar and I just love you already. I want to be an illustrator so I would to ask you 2 things: first- have you done some "special" courses or university? second- which kind of colour do you use? (I've seen watercolour and some pencils). Thanks so much! Hope you'll follow me one day ♥ (noemigaldieriart
Aww, thank you so much!! I currently am attending school to become an illustrator; this Fall will be my third year! I’ve taken many art courses. Two of them have specialized in illustration.
As far as tools, I try not to limit myself, but I love working with watercolors and colored pencils :)
